Coverage
Our Property All Risks Policy covers against Physical loss or damage to the Insured property by any cause, not otherwise excluded under the standard LM7 wording

Addl Information: This is the policy meets the requirements of bankers for their security at the time of granting loans

Our General Exclusions:

» Electrical or mechanical breakdown or derangement of plant, machinery or equipment
» Deterioration of property due to change in temperature or humidity or failure or inadequate operation of an air-conditioning cooling or heating system
» Subsidence ground heave land-slip erosion settling or cracking
UNLESS EITHER CAUSED BY:
- » Fire, lightning , explosion
- » Aircraft or other aerial devices or articles dropped there from impact by vehicles, watercraft locomotives or rolling stock, earthquake, riot or malicious acts (other than any act excluded by reason of Exception 6(b) herein), strikers,locked-out workersor persons taking part in labour disturbances storm, tempest, flood
» Loss, destruction or damage to
- » Property in course of manufacture
- » Property in the course of construction or erection
- » Boilers, economisers, turbines
- » Plant, machinery or equipment during installation dismantling or the stripping down and assembly in respect of any re-sitting operations
- » Electrical equipment or wiring caused by electrical current (other than lightning)
- » Money, cheques, bullion, negotiable instruments and securities of all kinds
- » Animals growing crops or standing timber
- » Dams, reservoirs, piers, wharves, jetties, bridges or tunnels
- » Any vehicle licensed for road use
- » Property whilst in transit other than at any Premises described in the Schedule
- » Documents, manuscripts, business books or computer systems records for the value of the Insured of the information contained therein
- » consequential loss of any kind or description whatsoever.
- » loss resulting from dishonesty fraudulent action trick device or other false pretence
- » loss resulting from theft unless accompanied by violence to persons or threat of violence or forcible and violent entry to or exit from the premises
- » loss resulting from unexplained or mysterious disappearance or shortage revealed at any periodic inventory or shortages in the supply or delivery of materials or loss or shortage due to clerical or accounting error
- » The cost of replacing or rectifying defective materials workmanship design, defect, or omission in design plan or specification
- » contamination, pollution, wear and tear corrosion
- » the cost of normal upkeep or normal making good
- » the freezing or solidification of molten material
» Loss, Destruction or Damage by storm, tempest, water, hail, frost or snow to property
- » In the open (other than buildings, structures and plant designed to exist and operate in the open)
- » Contained in open-sided buildings
» Policy Excess
- » Dhs.2,500/- for Each and Every Loss

Claim Procedures:

» In case of a claim due to the above perils
- » Immediately
  - » Inform the police/Fire brigade Local authorities immediately
  - » Protect and minimize the loss whateverhowever you can
  - » Protect the damaged property till Insurance surveyor arrives
  - » Inform our nearest office by phone
- » Subsequently
  Submit the below documents:
  - » Police Report, Photos if any
  - » Estimates for Damage items or for Repair
  - » Investigation Report if any
